Officials from the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) presented the singer with the visa in the presence of Anil Dhanak, a UAE businessman and managing director of Kanz Jewels.

Mouni Roy thanked the Dubai authorities for providing her with the golden visa. Roy is a frequent traveler to Dubai, where he has been seen at renowned attractions such as the Burj Al Arab, Love Lake, and Dubai Safari Park.

"To call Dubai my second home is an understatement; I spend more time here than anywhere else." I am ecstatic to obtain the Golden Visa and grateful to the authorities for considering me deserving of the honor. According to the Khaleej Times, "Dubai is a wonderful destination for creative minds to pursue their goals, and I am confident that several of my upcoming films will be shot in the UAE."

A number of well-known Indian actors have been granted UAE Golden Visas. Shah Rukh Khan, Varun Dhawan, Farha Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Mohanlal, Mammootty, Sunil Shetty, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonu Nigam, Sanjay Kapoor, and Boney Kapoor, as well as Janhvi, Arjun, Khushi, and Anshula Kapoor, are among the celebrities on the list.

A total of 44,500 citizens were granted golden visas by the UAE.

Since the long-term residency scheme began, around 44,000 Dubai residents have acquired golden visas.

The UAE government introduced the golden visa in 2019, allowing foreigners to live, work, and study in the country without the need for a national sponsor and with full ownership of their businesses on the UAE mainland.

These visas are valid for 5 or 10 years and are renewed automatically.
